Cancer Jewellery / July Birthstone

Traditional July Birthstone: Ruby is the traditional birthstone for July and for the zodiac sign Cancer.  Rubies can be found in many shades of red and pink.  Sugarpuss London does not source rubies from Burma/Myanmar for use in its designer birthstone jewellery collections due to human rights violations.  All our rubies are either sourced the Longido mines in Tanzania or from Africa.  All shades of rubies are perfect for use in contemporary birthstone jewellery - too pink, however, and the ruby correctly becomes termed 'pink sapphire' (sapphire and rubies are both corundums).
