Handmade Bands Rutilated Quartz & Pearl Pendant (18")

This black rutilated quartz pendant is handmade from a medium sized, 6.25 carat, black rutilated quartz gem (approx 14x7mm) hand wrapped in sterling silver and presented on a hand forged silver ring with AAA grade, 4.5mm, natural white freshwater pearl.

Rutilated quartz of this clarity is quite rare - it is often found with lots of crystal feathers or crystalline bubbles and dot inclusions. The focal used in this piece, however, is clear with lots of desirable and distinct black tourmaline needles shooting in all directions.

Black rutilated quartz is also known as tourmalinated quartz and we love the slight art deco look it has. A perfect dress up or down piece.
