This Andamooka matrix opal necklace features a stunning 18mm (34 carats) of natural opal caught within its original matrix. The cut of this Andamooka matrix opal can be compared to the more familiar cut of a boulder opal - which usually features a darker base stone with veins of colour running through it. We love this lighter version presented by the Andamooka matrix opal, however, as it features lovely duck egg blue streaks of opal with sparkling green flashes within it. It's simply stunning (and a good hefty size at 18mm).
