Designer Opal & Gemstone Star Necklace (18")

This designer opal and gemstone star necklace is a one off design composed using a number of high grade gemstones, as follows: a 5.75 carat, AAA grade, pink Peruvian opal briolette; 2.55 carat Australian Queensland boulder opal; a 0.85 carat genuine Ethiopian Welo opal; a pretty 1.10 carat Sleeping Beauty turquoise briolette; a small, 4.5mm, natural white freshwater pearl; a high-flash, AAA grade, rainbow moonstone briolette; and, finally, 1.4 carats of rare Candelaria turquoise.

All of the gemstones have been hand wrapped and hand pinned in bright sterling silver and are presented on a large, handmade, black silver hoop with hand soldered Karen hill tribe star detail. After soldering, we filed, degreased, and took the silver to a deep black finish, which we then tumbled for extra shine.

All of the gemstones and opals used in this piece are guaranteed to be naturally mined and are untreated, apart from the turquoise, which has been stabilised for durability. The boulder opal has flashes of red and green and the Ethiopian opal is much brighter than pictured. A lovely piece.
