This ametrine and opal necklace is a one off design handmade from a large, 4.6 carat, AAA grade ametrine briolette hand wrapped in sterling silver and presented on a hand forged silver ring with three small solid Mintabie opals weighing a total of 1.25 carats. The Mintabie opals used in this necklace can be considered rare, as the mine is now thought to be depleted of gem stock. The opals display bright greens and blues, with some reds (not captured well in the photos), and were mined and cut over 10 years ago.
The ametrine used in the necklace is guaranteed to be 100% natural and untreated and displays the most desirable pattern for this stone, with clear definition between the amethyst and citrine portions.
