Oregon Sunstone & Pearl Necklace (18")

This Oregon sunstone & pearl necklace is a one off design handmade from a rare, 16.5 carat, rough Oregon sunstone slice hand wrapped in sterling silver and presented on a decorative sterling silver bail with three hand pinned AAA grade, 4.5mm, natural white freshwater pearls.

The sunstone slice in this necklace measures 18.5mm x 25mm and was specifically drilled for us, as we fell in love with the formation pattern. Similar to watermelon tourmaline, it exhibits a red schiller core with champagne outer or champagne rind. This gem was basically dug out of the ground and polished up - a beautiful specimen.
