This iolite bracelet is handmade from approximately 40 carats of genuine AAA iolite from Orissa (India). The iolite used in this bracelet is completely natural - i.e. it has received no form of heat treatment or other cosmetic enhancement - it has simply been cut into pretty heart shaped briolettes, which have been faceted to allow maximum colour and sparkle. The bracelet is then finished with sterling silver beads and a hammered toggle clasp handmade by a member of the Karen hill tribe in Northern Thailand. Gorgeous.
