Australian Opal Jewellery Australian Opal Necklace

This necklace is handmade in the Sugarpuss London studio from 8.45 carats of solid Mintabie opal in sandstone matrix (the name is misleading - sandstone is a type of very hard rock). The opal has gorgeous flickers of green, blue and red with a wonderful amber tinted translucence in certain lights. The opal has been in hand pinned in silver and presented on a handmade silver circle and decorative leaf bail.

This opal necklace has been fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office and stamped with Sugarpuss London's unique studio maker's mark, 'SL'.
