Sugilite Jewellery Lemon Quartz Cluster Necklace

Well, what can we say - this necklace is handmade from a mixture of gemstones which give the piece a lovely autumnal feel. The focal of the necklace is a AAA large green-gold elongated lemon quartz briolette, measuring about 23 x 10mm. Clustered above the focal are lashings of champagne citrine, tunduru sapphire and deliciously rare natural African sugilite (also known as lavulite or royal azal). All gemstones are suspended on a highly detailed beautiful sterling silver leaf bail and silver ring and have been hand wrapped in solid sterling silver.

Natural sugilite is a highly prized opaque gem grade stone that is extracted at great depths below the ground (3, 200ft+).

This necklace provides a hanging length of approximately 18", excluding pendant.
