This ruby and opal necklace is handmade in the Sugarpuss London studio from two carats of natural pigeon blood red Longido ruby (no dye, lead or glass filling or heating or treatment of any kind) and 0.65 carats of dark-base solid Australian Lambina opal with subtle red shadow. Both gems have been hand pinned in sterling silver and are presented on a sterling silver circle and hammered navette trace chain measuring 18".

Rest assured, Sugarpuss London does not source rubies from Burma/Myanmar due to the human rights conflicts.

This opal and ruby necklace has been fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office and stamped with Sugarpuss London's unique studio maker's mark, 'SL'.
