A large opulent opal and pearl cluster ring fully handmade in the Sugarpuss London studio from sterling silver D shaped wire that has been shaped, soldered, rounded up, filed & polished and then set with a hadmade sterling silver circle on to which we have hand pinned lashings of AAA grade white pearls (large 6-7mm off-round pearls and small 4mm round pearls), high grade labradorite rondelles, mixed size Andamooka boulder opals and small Mintabie opals.
There is approximately 8.7 carats of Andamooka boulder opal used in this ring and around 2 carats of Mintabie crystal opal. The crystal opal has delicate flashes of red, green and blue and the Andamooka opal has a wheat coloured body tone with streaks of duck egg blue running through it, which we think looks wonderful alongside the labradorite rondelles.
This pearl and opal ring has been fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office and stamped with Sugarpuss London's unique studio maker's mark, 'SL'.
