These opal and garnet earrings are a one off design handmade from 3.55 carats of solid Australian opal from the Lambina opal fields. The opals are hand pinned in sterling silver with Bali style spacer beads and 1.15 carats of natural, AAA grade, Mozambique garnet. The gems are presented on sturdy sterling silver lever backs with shell motif.
The opals are primarily an opaque dark grey with some translucence, there is a hint of precious fire in one of the gems, however, they have been primarily picked for their base colour, which we think compliments the garnet beautifully.
