Opal Necklaces Black Opal & Pearl Necklace (16")

This designer opal necklace is handmade in the Sugarpuss London studio from a solid Lightening Ridge (Australian) black opal heart, AAA grade 4.5mm white pearls, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver and ethically sourced Karen hill tribe silver.

The black opal heart measures approximately 10.5mm x 10.2mm (width at widest point) and weighs in at 4.2 carats. The opal is entirely black apart from a pretty blue and green flash across the left side of its face - as visible in the pictures). The Australian opal used in this necklace is suspended on a handmade sterling silver bail chain. The top of the chain is accented with ethically sourced Karen hill tribe silver and Swarovski crystals. The main body of this black opal and pearl necklace is made up of AAA grade 4.5mm white round pearls and is finished at the back with a classic sterling silver filigree pearl clasp and finishing beads.

This necklace is strung on our incredibly strong silver plated and nylon coated beading cable. The clasp ends are futher secured with sterling silver bouillon for a professional finish.

This black opal and pearl necklace is fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office and stamped with Sugarpuss London's studio maker's mark, 'SL'.
