This necklace is handmade from 100% rare and completely natural Carico Lake turquoise, sterling silver and ethically sourced Karen hill tribe silver. Rich unenhanced and unstabilised nuggets of green/blue/brown turquoise have been strung in a row and finished off with two large hill tribe silver freeform nugget beads on either side, before being secured with sterling silver bouillion and suspended on a sterling silver chain.
Necklace length approximately 18 inches.
The Carico Lake mine is primarily a gold producing mine and is only mined for turquoise intermittently, making Carico Lake turquoise a valuable edition to any turquoise collection. For more information, see our Materials page.
