Turquoise Necklaces Rare Royston Turquoise Necklace (16")

A large rare Royston turquoise nugget measuring around 16mm x 20.5mm hand wrapped in sterling silver and sandwiched between two handmade Bali sterling silver daisy spacer beads.

Presented on a 16" fine sterling silver trace chain.

Turquoise from the Royston district has a distinctive reddish chocolate matrix, which can also run to dark brown and gold. The Royston turquoise used in this necklace is natural (but stabilised) i.e. it has not been colour treated or formed from reconstituted rock (as much turquoise is).
