Luxury 18k Amethyst & Black Opal Pendant

This beautiful 18k gold amethyst and black opal necklace is a one off design handmade in the Sugarpuss London studio using a large, 10 carat, AAA grade, amethyst briolette hand wrapped in lashings of solid 18k gold and suspended below a rare, 1.4 carat, black Mintabie opal from Australia. Both gems are hand linked and presented on a solid 18k gold hoop with lightly hammered texture. Provided on a 16" solid 18k gold chain.

The black opal used in this piece is cut into a 6mm solid opal sphere. The opal has a lovely stripe running across its centre and has precious flickers of both red and green. The Mintabie opal mine is thought to be near depleted and black opal from this mine can be considered rare and sought after.

This amethyst and black opal necklace has been fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office and is stamped with Sugarpuss London's unique studio maker's mark.
