This pair of baby geode earrings are handmade from a single geode thunder egg that has been split in half and centre drilled as briolettes. The gems weigh a total of 3.85 carats and have a sparkling black interior with highly polished black rinds and dark green/black outer shells. The briolettes have been hand wrapped in 24k gold vermeil and are presented on artisan made 24k gold heavy plated sterling silver ear wires.

We can guarantee that the ear wires used in this piece have a satin finish with a 40-mil thick layer of genuine 24k gold, the equivalent of 20x that of traditional gold-plating.

Geode specimens with intact crystals and undamaged shells are hard to find and, although we may be biased, we think this pair is particularly fine.
