Dichroic sunstone cabochon with striped schiller

This Oregon sunstone ring is completely handmade and hand set with a large pear shaped dichroic (two colour - green and salmon/peach) striped schiller Oregon sunstone cabochon weighing in at a large 6.68 carats. The sunstone is set in a custom made, thick walled bezel setting and set upon a heavy weight ring base made from sterling silver D shaped wire. Polished to perfection.

A picture of the stone before it was set is available here on our Tumblr blog. The stone has lots of translucency and is an interesting example of an increasingly popular contemporary gemstone.

This ring has been fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office and stamped with Sugarpuss London's unique studio maker's mark.
